Connect your Yotpo Reviews account to Loyalty to automatically award points for review submissions. Once connected, you can create custom points rules to match your program design and member tiers. This keeps members engaged and encourages more feedback on your products.
Before you start
You need to have:
An active Yotpo Reviews account.
Your App Key and Secret Key from Yotpo to authenticate the integration.
1. Connect your Yotpo account
In Loyalty, go to Integrations.
Find Yotpo Reviews, then select CONNECT.
Read the integration information, then select CONTINUE.
In the pop-up window, enter your App Key and Secret Key.
You can find these in your Yotpo account under Settings > General Settings > API Credentials.Select Connect.
Yotpo Reviews appears in Installed integrations.
2. Set up a Points rule for Yotpo Reviews
Once connected, set up the Yotpo Reviews points rule so members can earn points for submitting reviews.

3. Install Yotpo Reviews in Shopify
Log in to Shopify and go to your store.
In Shopify Admin, go to Apps from the left-hand navigation.
Select Customize your store — this opens the Shopify App Store.
In the search bar, type Yotpo Product Reviews.
On the app listing page, select Add app.
When prompted, select Install app.
Shopify will redirect you to the Yotpo setup wizard.Log in to Yotpo Reviews with your email and password.
4. Add the Review widget in Shopify
In Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes > Customize to open the Theme editor.
Under Apps, find the Review widget.
Drag the Review widget on any page where you want reviews submitted.
Select Save.
Publish your changes.
Shopify configuration ensures the review submission process is visible and accessible to shoppers. Without this step, reviews don’t trigger points in Loyalty.
How it works
Each time a shopper leaves a review using Yotpo Reviews, the integration sends the review data to Loyalty. The shopper then earns the number of points defined in your Yotpo Reviews rule.
